Veterans Uniting as One (VUO) Description: Veterans Uniting as One (VUO) is a group of veterans uniting and organizing for the preservation of the US Constitution, The Bill of Rights, Law and order, and the American way of life. VUO is a political action Group. It is not a social club or veterans support group. VUO openly and unapologetically takes political sides in direct support of the Constitution, and in direct opposition to Marxist ideology, Political violence, and Fascistic movements. VUO does not accept all invitees and applications for membership. It is a Group only for serious, likeminded veterans who: …are still true to their oaths. …
Are concerned about the direction of the country they love, straying away from the Constitutional principles it was founded upon. …reject Marxist ideology and any of its variations. …have not been compromised by political ideologies in opposition to the Constitution. …can clearly identify today’s adversaries of the Constitution, both foreign and domestic. …are concerned with the alarming rise in numbers and intensity of groups antagonistic to the Constitution, and the normalization of socialism and Marxist thought into American political, social, and cultural life. …are concerned with the rise of political violence as a socially acceptable expression of grievance. …are concerned with the growing hostility and antagonism of political and cultural elites toward the Middle Class. …are concerned with political bias in the major media (to include, social media); and its apparent seizure by Leftist ideologues and their money interests, for the purpose of driving anti-American, anti-Middle Class, divisive messaging and narratives; as well as understand the danger this poses to a free society. …are prepared to act in meaningful ways, and physically show-up, if they are at all able, when events are planned. VUO members still affirm the following oath, each of us, as individual members of this group, took upon entry into Military Service “I, _state your name_, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.” ((Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962)). We accept and acknowledge that we are still bound by our oaths, it has no expiration date, and that it remains our duty to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, regardless of current military status. Veterans Uniting as One (VUO) Core Principles: We Believe: …in American exceptionalism. …in the defense of the Constitution of the United States, at all costs …that the overarching precepts of the Constitution are the guarantee of individual liberties and the emplacement of deliberate limitations on government. …in equality under the Law, freedom of speech, the right to assemble peacefully, the right to keep and bear arms, and due process. …the Constitution is incompatible with socialism in any form. …Government and politicians work for the people, not vice versa. …that the moral framework for the nation established in the Declaration of Independence, remains valid to this day. …that America, is the single greatest idea of government ever conceived; that the Constitution is an unrivalled document outlining that idea; and that both are truly exceptional and unprecedented in humanity’s attempts at self-government. We believe it is our duty to defend and preserve this idea for future generations as our ancestors did for us. …that veterans are uniquely suited and capable of leading patriotic pushback against unconstitutional political activity, due to their experience, organizational and leadership ability, training, and continued commitment to their oaths. We Support: …the appointment of strict-constructionist judges on the Supreme Court, Courts of Appeals and District Courts. …political leaders and movements that place the Constitution and its core principles and rights, at the forefront of their beliefs in governance. …the current Commander in Chief. …individual liberty and the dignity of the individual. …the nuclear family and a strong middle class, as the bedrock of a free and civil society. …law enforcement. …equality of opportunity. We Reject and Oppose: …outright, and will not tolerate, discrimination in any form regarding race, gender, ethnicity, or any other immutable human trait. “Hyphenated” Americanism is only meant to divide, and we reject it. Racism and bigotry are historic tools of the Left, and we do not use the instruments of our adversaries. …Socialism, Marxism or any other form of collectivist authoritarianism that subjugate the individual to servants of the State. We stand in direct opposition to any political movement, party, politician, or advocate that supports Marxist ideology, socialism as legitimate American public policy, or the division of American citizens into group identities. …any movement that seeks the “transformation of America” into something unconstitutional, or unintended by the vision of the Founders. …any public policy incompatible with the Constitution. …bias in major and social media publishers, and their collusion with political ideologies. …Government overreach, corruption, and any attempts of it, or politicians, to usurp, dismantle, or attempt to bypass Constitutional restraints. …the corrupting influence of Sub-governments, NGOs and Special Interests Groups; especially those whose objectives and activities run contrary to the Will of the People. …any attempts by unelected bureaucrats to affect public policy in opposition to the Will of the People. …Globalism as envisioned by Marxist elites that believes America should be brought down, as opposed to the rest of the globe being raised up. …judicial activism. …foreign intervention in American domestic affairs. …illegal immigration. …equality of outcomes. Veterans Uniting as One (VUO) Mission: …to be a platform for like-minded U.S. military veterans, still true to their oaths, for pro-Constitution political activism and direct action. VUO seeks to develop a multi-platform architecture and means of redundancy for communication, coordination, and support. In the worst-case scenario of widespread political violence and chaos, the VUO organization, and its redundancies may evolve to serve as a platform for nationwide and regional coordination, contingency planning, elevated direct action, and provision of needed assistance for members. …to unite as a whole at the national level, and organize into subordinate regional groups, in order to coordinate, as much as possible, at the local level, to defend the US Constitution through activism and direct-action activities. Those activities include, (but are not limited to): political rallies, fund-raisers, support for local law enforcement, participation in town halls and other political venues, and Constitutional activism as opportunities present themselves. …to act as a recruitment forum for like-minded U.S military veterans to achieve these stated purposes, and to open networks of cooperation and communication among members, who might never have met otherwise, to assist in selforganization to the lowest regional level we can realistically achieve. …to re-affirm the oath each of us took upon entry of military service, and stand ready to execute activities and direct action, as organized and vocal advocates in defense of the US Constitution and individual liberties. …to be a learning platform to learn and better understand Constitutional basics, through the document itself, and discussed within the framework of current events and political activity.
